I know all about the attatchment one developes towards ones own creations. I draw and have alot of them tucked away in a nightstand beside my bed. But, if you were an artist (any field of art) with a dream of being discovered that was offered a million dollars a year for two years to learn more about your craft, would you turn the offer down? You had never done anything before that was recognized and then suddenly one thing you did was. Professionals, the movers and shakers in the field you wanted to pursue and indeed had spent a small fortune pursuing already, noticed your work. They told you that you had a knack for it so they offered you a deal to further your training, with professionals, so as to hone your skills and set you in touch with all those who could make your creations known world wide. Would you be a student for two years for a million dollars each of those years, have your name forever known as the creator of the idea that got you noticed but, you had to let professionals polish your original idea up so as to make it more acceptable to the public? I already know my answer and yes, I know the person in this situation. I was just curious as to what your answer would be if offered the deal above. Please feel free to post a reply.
