Abilities: Fire magic is as natural to her as walking and breathing, so she often uses very strong fire-based spells during fights. However, under ceartain conditions(The most common one being rain or some other form of water), she ends up going berserk as a completely different personality altogether. This much more violent personality, named Ukma(Arina ended up adopting this as her last name), is considerably stronger and has a very quick temper. Usually, Ukma can only take over for a few minutes but lately she's learned how to stay "awake" for over half an hour. Just like a flame, she'll grow weaker and weaker when doused in water and can even be knocked unconscious if she can't manage to dry off fast enough. By the time Arina regains control, she can never remember what happens while Ukma's awake. No matter which personality is awake, she can use very weak healing magic.
Story: Arina was found and raised in a boarding school that agreed to let her stay if she helped out with the cleaning and cooking. However, somewhere around the age of 12, she mysteriously lost consiousness. When she woke up, nobody was around, and there was a hole in the door, as if it was made by a fist. After a few days of searching, it was clear that everyone in the town had gone into hiding for some reason. Eventually, she gave up trying to find them and started to travel.
A few years into her journey, she ended up in a prison-type city which wouldn't allow her to leave, and her less-than-pleasant experience left her paranoid. She's fairly timid and will try to avoid fights. So, if you seem threatening or even a little strange, chances are she'll simply run away from you.
Other: She usually wears clothes with waterproof threads to reduce water exposure as much as possible, and she also carries around enchanted clip-on earrings that can stop Ukma from awakening. The only reason she doesn't wear them often is that they also stop her from using magic.
