The presenters for engineering orientation have completely discouraged me. One of them said there's a good chance you won't have to use any of that lovely calculus and physics and chemistry during work D= I THRIVE ON THE MATH! And engineers usually end up in management, meaning you need good people skills. If the "no math" wasn't enough to scare me off, that was. People skills=zero. well, a little above zero. But still. Not what I wanna be doing. Oh, and they were like "go out, join stuff. Don't just study: go DATE!!!" o.O like, what??? Whad'ya MEAN we won't use all that math and science crap? go DATE?! WHAT KIND OF ADVICE IS THAT??? Tryin' to weed out those less motivated? Or trying to scare off those without people skills? Because that's exactly the effect it had on me! *whimper* Can't I just go be a math major? I'd be so much better at it. Also, you get to take like 3 math classes a semester, which is amazing, especially since I've discovered that I'm in THE hardest math class in the university D: What's the point of subjecting myself to the living hell of college math classes if I won't even use what I learn? gonk (not that the class is all that bad...the calculus part, anyway....)
Ring day is on my birthday, so chances are no one's gonna call me >.> I don't wanna have another sucky friendless birthday D: That was a one-time-only thing, hopefully. Granted, I can't completely complain about what happened after, but still, those 3 weeks after my birthday sucked so much...just one thing after another, and before you know it, I reverted back to old habits and got caught -.- Never again, though. nugent D< GAH. I'm so lucky my parents are easily distracted and prone to minor health crises that distract from things like wasteful councilor visits ^_^ In fact, my mom was going to call and schedule the first of the 4 appointments from hell for senior year when she was distracted. SO LUCKY. Nugent would've noticed a change in my behavior, but instead of passing it off as maturing, she would've wanted to know WHY. Well, that's off-limits razz
I made an alphabetic code, and I'm putting all important things into the code ^_^
