Another poem I wrote. The ending is bad, I know, but I had writer's block. >.< Enjoy.
In the twisted root, The rough brown bark, The emerald leaf, I see the beauty of simplicity.
In the clear blue waters, Or the storm churned sea, I behold a powerful force; Both a sculpting artist and a ravenous monster.
In the violet sky, And the puff-ball clouds, The infinite space beyond as well, I view the mightiest liberator.
In the flash of light, A sight of pale yellow fingers striking air, And a melody of noise, I witness the most glorious predator.
In the tall sharp peaks, With their snow-powdered wigs, And hard purple skins, I realize a mountain man's dream.
In the dry lifeless sand, And the scorching sun, The rare few oases, I am entranced in an amber landscape.
In this blue-green planet, Which we call Earth, I have known great splendors, And have yet to know more.
