For those who don't know what Harajuku is, I'm gonna explain (same as for Fruits).
Harajuku is a famous area in Tokyo, Japan. It's all about fashion in several different styles. One of those styles is Gothic & Lolita. You could say that Harajuku is a name for all those styles together. There's this place called the Harajuku Bridge (Tokyo). People, lots of teenagers, stand there wearing Harajuku style. They look different and unique, and people who pass them (tourists etc.) can take pictures of them.
Fruits is also a fashion-style...not those things you eat xD. It probably got this name because Fruits is very colorful. They also wear different prints together, something that would be thought of as awful by fashion-slaves (those who follow fashion, and don't wear their own style....those who are more into trends). Of Fruits are 2 photobooks...sadly enough I don't have them, or I would scan again xD Those are made by someone else (I don't know his name...something like Shoichi)... they made also cards of it xD
There's an (online) blog by someone from the Netherlands, who lives in the Harajuku area. You can ask him (?) for clothes of a certain brand in your size. He buys it for you, and you have to pay the clothing and finders-fee... believe it or not, but it's probably cheaper than to buy it from Mirai Fashion.
Those who know Harajuku, probably have heard of Gwen Stefanie, and her song about Harajuku girls... It seems nice etc. But she isn't one of the Gothic & Lolita's, though she likes the style.
People from Japan said it themselves: she does it for attention, she isn't a real one 'cuz she dresses sexy, that isn't what it's about, the skirts should reach her knees.
In Japan it started because they wanted to break free of the chains of society, they wanted something that would make them different.
