Heavy footfalls could be heard in the empty hallway. The walls surrounding two figures shone in the dim light. The sun was just rising as the two continued to walk, making the empty corridor echo. Silence was the last thing on either of the twos mind. They wanted to be heard by all who were there, wanted to make sure that all eyes were on them.
The shorter of the two moved their hand nearer to the tallest, until the fingers were just barely touching. A small gesture of the tallest, and obviously male made the shorter female shudder. Their hands were now entwined with each other, fingers looping within the other.
The female turned her head slightly, and stared up at the male. He could feel her staring, and turned his head to look down upon her. She suddenly stopped, and he did the same. Inclining their heads closer and closer, until only a sliver of light could be seen between their noses.
Both of them had touched lips. Kissed. They were kissing each other, but not for long. It was just a light feathery kiss, but it was enough to cause the female to shiver. As if by instinct, the male wrapped his long arm around her shoulders. Her head just reached his shoulder, but she had placed it onto his chest. A large sigh came from her lips, it was from the female.
“Carson... Why are we here? You promised that it wouldn't be here.”
A low chuckle came from Carson's lips, as he lowered his face into her hair. “Fear not dear Cade. I did promise that it wouldn't be here, but I did not specifically say in this spot.”
“That's not funny, Carson.” Cade's voice was angry. She felt betrayed. How could he do that to her! “It's the same whether you get technical or not.”
Another chuckle came from the male, “Silly Cade. You have no idea where we are-”
“Yes I do!” She was almost shouting, and had pulled away from Carson. “We are here. And you said that we wouldn't be! What's wrong with you? Can't you let the past-”
“Die...” Carson sounded hurt, and his voice was a husky whisper. “I can't forgive and forget, Cade. Not like you can. I thought you would know that by now...”
“Carson...” Cade's voice was just barely above a whisper. Clutching at her sides, the female looked at the ground while she sniffed, “I'm sorry... I didn't mean anything. You know that I know you. But I get impulsive...”
Carson took a step towards her, while a small smile played at his lips. “Just say that you love me. Kiss me, hold me, let me hold you. Please... Just one last time.”
The female slowly lifted her head to stare up into Carson's face. Tears were pouring from her eyes. She didn't know what to say. But he had already step forward and wrapped his arms protectively around her. “Please...”
Before she could answer, the male was already kissing her. Kissing her so fiercely that she could not pull away. Cade's hands had stolen into his shoulder length hair, but Carson was already moving past that. His mouth was still on hers, but his large hands began to roam her body.
A zipper sounded as Cade moaned. Her jacket had fallen to the floor, and now the male was working at her top. The smaller figure had finally come to her senses, and tried to push Carson away. But he was to strong. Pressing his lips down harder, and harder until she had to cry out.
Taking his chance, the taller of the two took the chance and slid his tongue into her mouth. The electricity that had been there before came alive. Sending a shiver down Cade's spine. Carson began to move his mouth away from her mouth, and placed it in the nape of her slender neck. She moaned loudly, still trying to fight him off.
“Get... Off...”
“You promised. You didn't say anything, but you act as if you want me, Cade.” Carson's voice was muffled by the skin that his mouth now covered. His hands had roamed up towards her breasts, and began to fondle them gently. “I want you Cade. God, how I want you to want me. Why can't you love me?”
Once again, Cade tried to push him off. And this time she succeeded. He stumbled backwards, and Cade made a run for it. Carson started running after her, and pounced. Just barely grabbing her ankles, the female fell to the floor and rolled around. But he was too fast. Already he was on top of her, and ripping at her clothing.
A fierce look was in his eyes, and Cade couldn't make a sound. His mouth was pressed against hers so painfully hard, that they were beginning to bruise. Flashbacks began to pour into her mind. Oh god no! Not again!
Squirming to get out from underneath him, Cade had gotten her mouth free. But Carson had bruised them so badly, she couldn't move them. Why did this have to happen again? Why couldn't he let the past go? Why? Why? Why...?
