It actually wasn't too bad! I finished everything-including the essay! The Math and Science were the hardest for me. The Science was very wordy I found, which made it difficult for my tired brain to decipher. It didn't help that it was the last test. The Math was...math. Which made it difficult! Haha, but not too too bad. The essay I managed to finish just in time. I was literally writing the last word ((which was unpatriotic, in case you were wondering)) when the proctor told us to put our pencils down. It took about 4 1/2 hours altogether. I will probably take it again in September, despite my score. ((Which I will be receiving in 3-7 weeks!))
So I had planned to do some studying the night before and then head to bed. Midnight was the probable latest. Around 8:30 p.m. I was checking out the ACT website and realized I needed a picture ID to show them. Typical procrastinating Me. Because I'm home-schooled and don't have my license yet that was a problem. For the next 1 1/2 to 2 hours I frantically searched the house for any form of picture ID I might have. I ended up with a picture ID from 2005 for our local library. It had expired in 2007 so I wasn't too sure if they would take it but nothing else turned up. By then I was both emotionally and physically exhausted but I still had some studying to do. But a few minutes later one of my friends called and asked if I had time to talk. I'm not sure what it was but I felt that it wasn't a normal, "Hey, what's up?" sort-of call. So we began to talk and my friend was really upset and crying over the phone. This friend usually doesn't cry and it is sufficient to say that it was a big deal. After talking with her for a few hours, I crawled into bed only to realize that I still needed to study. After an hour or so of studying I fell asleep to wake up a mere 4 hours later. Luckily, my Dad and I managed to get out of the house on time and to school 10 minutes early. Unluckily, I had managed not to eat anything for breakfast which proved to NOT be a smart move. Here's a great quote from my ACT study book which clearly represents my feelings that day. "We find that about two-thirds of the way through the (ACT) test, people who didn't eat something beforehand suddenly lose their will to live."
Despite all that, it wasn't half-bad.
Before I forget--the Japanese 2 test was pretty easy. *knocks on wood* And now I'm finally finished with school this year! : D
