Can someone explain this to me? How is it that people end up with boyfriends and girlfriends? Do they just spill their feelings for someone they barely know and get to know eachother better later, or do they get to beffriend them and stuff before they ask their special someone out? And if they are befriended, how can they deal with the possiblity of rejection and know that by saying what they feel for this person might loose them a friendship and cause public humiliation? I hope one day this process becomes clear to me, because I have missed so many opportunities by just being so...scared, of what they might think, and of what others would think. Maybe they liked me? But on the very big chance they didn't, I had a chance of things getting akward between the two of us, and loosing a friendship that I deeply cherish. I mean, honestly, I think I rather see them happy with someone while I watch my chances slip away then never get to hear their voices and laughs and enjoy their company anymore. And also, if they aren't the kind of person that gets along with your friends, what then? Either you leave your friends to hang out with his, or the opposite. Because you both can't be at two places at once. And if there isn't trust, how do you know that they aren't dating others behind your back? Just...I really don't get this, and I wish it was as simple as a dot and line.
