Spring of Love

Before you came, my world was dark and cold.
An everlasting winter in my soul.
But when you came, flowers grew in my snow,
And light shined into my heart.
You melted the ice as I melted in your arms.
And spring came to me at last.
The flowers of our love bloomed
While you held my hand
As we walked through the Field of Life.
My world will never snow again.
WRITER'S NOTE: This is my very first love poem. Dedicated to my first and only love, Danny. I love you forever even when the flowers never bloom and the sky never snows again.
