The jetties.
This is a place where as a teenager I spent alot of time. It looked like this until a few years ago when they placed a fence along each side of the rocks to keep people off it.
I was sad to see this change even though I realized that someone probably lost their life out there by making a bad step. I experienced a near miss out there too when trying to hurry back as the tide rolled in. Each wave nearly covered the rocks and did so in some places making trying to find your footing impossible.
Anyway, I was happy to find the picture online of this old haunt of mine. I never thought I'd see a picture of this place again because I moved away years ago.
The net was a good thing in this case. biggrin
