From a biblical standpoint I'd be afraid because we're to follow on faith alone and not because of any vision. I'd be terrified that it'd be Satan messing with my mind. But, from a point of Jesus appearing being compared for the sake of those who don't believe, it would make a believer out of me!
The bible tells how people are going to be in this day and it gives a good description of why people refuse to believe...
2 Timothy 3:1-7... 1 But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away. 6 For from these arise those men who slyly work their way into households and lead as their captives weak women loaded down with sins, led by various desires, 7 always learning and yet never able to come to an accurate knowledge of truth.
While the scripture says to turn away from these types of people it does not mean that we can't talk with them. We live in a world that mostly doesn't believe in God and if they do they often have a warped sense of what true faith is. So it's silly to assume that we can't even talk, smile or know them. Sometimes non-believers are fair, not abusive in speech and openminded enough to ask questions about why we believe what we believe. This always makes for good conversation when they're curious because I'm just as curious about why they believe what they do. What we're warned about is those who act as if because they have a higher education, they are above God. They can confuse us if we're not careful and lead us away from God's teachings.
