“Why are you here? State your business or leave this is private property!!” Rika stared at the boy as she spoke. “um....................” Kuro swallowed hard trying to avoid looking in her eyes “I’m a body guard............” Kuro was now blushing. “I see....................well then hang out with me!! Please!! The maids are busy and my only other company is gone!!!” she begged. Kuro stood silent. Rika walked over and picked up her Katana “I’ll show you my secret................I haven’t shown anyone yet............” Rika giggled and swiftly moved slashing at the wooden posts in the room. Rika moved gracefully and seemed to glide around. Suddenly she stopped and as soon as she stopped all the wooden pillars fell down with perfect clean cuts in them. Kuro stood silent his eyes widened and he shook his head “no..................I must do my job..............I’m sorry ma’am...................” he turned away his purple eyes seemed nervous like something else was on his mind. Rika sighed and looked away sad. When she looked up Kuro was gone. Rika looked around her eyes widened “KURO-SAN???? KURO-SAN WHERE ARE YOU???” Rika realized he was gone and she sunk down and cried.
Rika constantly thought and wrote of the boy. She often sent the mail to her older sister Salune who was a huge flirt and knew boys fairly well (a bit of a disgrace to the family) and also Salune was sent away when Rika was 6. Salune was never heir material according to her parents. So as soon as Rika was born it was decided Salune would be sent away. Salune and Rika didn’t exactly get along but maybe Salune could help. Meanwhile her hatred for the boy that was Kotomo’s unknown rival (he didn’t know the name) grew greatly. One day Salune’s reply came.
Rika opened the mail and read it aloud “WOAH NO WAY!!!!!! LIL SIS HAS A CRUSH?????? NICE!!!!!! YOU’RE BECOMING LIKE ME!!!!” Rika froze. She hated how her sister was and it sickened her to hear that she was becoming like her. Rika forced herself to continue reading. “K I’ll help you find this kid!!! 16 black hair purple eyes........................hmmmm.....................k he sounds like he’s in the family............hahahaha just joking...............k I’ll find him!” Rika folded the paper in half. Rika was wondering why she even told her sister. Salune’s not really useful.
As time passed Rika’s 14 b-day was two months away and her interest was once again Kotomo (although the Kuro boy still haunted her thoughts and she still wondered who he was). He was sweet and kind and protective and caring and handsome. A true prince charming. Rika knew that she wasn’t allowed to love but she hid it well. One day a letter came from Salune. Rika opened it in her room away from anyone it read “HI RIKA-CHAN!!!! Guess what??? I FOUND YOUR BOY!!! Kuro um he doesn’t have a last name............anyways..........HE LIVES WITH HIS GRANDPA AND HE TAKES CARE OF HIM BESIDES WHEN HES AT A TEA SHOP!!!!! He lives in this town “Fujita” and is good with his katana or so people beleive” Rika’s hands were trembling. The boy who she had loved was also the boy she hated. Rika felt betrayed but she noticed in the corner of the page in smaller print “p.s. I’m not useless I’m good at finding and stalking boys!” Rika sighed and folded the paper up. “Doesn’t matter it’s not like I like him anymore anyways.........” Rika sighed while walking down the hall way. Rika stared at the floor as she paced around. “OOF!!” Rika looked up to see who she had run into. A tall black haired man with red eyes stared at her he looked 20 or 30 he had a serious expression painted on his face. Rika had been told her father was quite a bit younger than her mother and her mother was very young. Rika she got up and bowed. “I-I’m very sorry...” Rika muttered and tried to run off. Rika’s arm was grabbed and she was scared to turn around as she did she noticed the man’s smile. It was kind and gentle. “I’m sure you know who I am by how you reacted........I’m Kenta Matsumoto..............your father.......” he smiled even more “it’s been a very long time Rika”
