MY Most Memorable Moment By: Kimberly Bermudez Block 6 11-10-07 [[Photo after mock trial at chilis]]
My most memorable moment was when I was a little kid. I lived in these blue apartments in Norwalk and it was my birthday. I was about 5years old at the time or was I 7 Lol well its hard to remember. All my neighbors were there and I was mad for some strange reason. Later I found out that I was angry because my mom’s friend had been teasing me about a boy that I always hung out with because we lived so close together. It all started as I was walking outside and they were setting up the piñata, I looked around and saw all my neighbors talking and laughing. I felt so short in my little green dress that mom had insisted I wear and I was like 5years old Lol. My mom was holding on to me until I saw my friends. We soon started eating because it was around 7pm and we were all starving because instead of eating we had been preparing for the party [[not a good idea]]. I forgot what we ate but it was really good. =] I think it was tacos, rice, well lets just say Mexican/ Salvadorian food Lol well you get the picture. They started playing the music and all the adults started dancing and then I saw my dad. He pulled me to dance floor as usually and I was shy, but I was happy he had made me dance because it was fun. He started dancing really funny and I started dancing away.
“I’m going to go talk to my friends.” I said over the loud music then I saw my dad start dancing with my mom. =]
“Okay. “ He said after awhile. I walked over to some kids that didn’t seem to be doing much but talking. I stood there for a while towards a corner trying not to be noticed and then a little boy I knew started talking to me. My sister Alba showed my picture from that day and I saw that the boy was wearing a white t-shirt and I forgot the pants. I sort a recognized the boy…. I think the boys name was Jacob. A few mins. Later his mom Renee came over and started teasing us about how much we hung out. Also that we would look cute together but he was my best friend at the time so I got mad that she said that. My sister Alba said that I was mad about that and I had been putting about that until Renee left. Hahaha looking back on that I seem like it was 20years ago.
Right after they called all the little kids to play piñata. Everyone could tell that it was going to be hard to break the piñata because it was full of candy. It took all the little kids to break it at the end. Each child tried to do it by themselves and each one failed until we helped each other out. I remember my cousins and brother trying to mash the thing to tiny pieces. Lol great memories and that’s one of the best.
The rest of the day is a blur but I remember kids running around switching candy, talking, crying [[only some]] and just enjoying the rest of the day. All I did was eat candy and talk to kids even though I could barely understand what they would tell me. Hahaha. Oh yea and I remember my friend Briana Laros was there too I think. [[She one of my bffls that I’ve known for like ever.]] Well that was one of my most moments so far in my life. And one of the ones I barely can remember because it was so long ago Lol. I had so much fun that day I wish it had never end but it has too. I miss those days of having to do nothing and just hanging out for the fun of it.
