Well, I'm bummed but it's okay. I lost the art contest. I didn't even place, which really get me because the art that did win wasn't even related to the friggin' theme. I talked to the judge and she told me things about my art that I knew would come up, such as: I had too much darkness on one side of the page where it should have been balanced out on the other side. A friend in my class drew an eagle and got second place. The best in show (and winner of a 1000 dollar scholarship) was a horse head made of clay which, I have to say, impressed me. It was really realistic. It rivals that of Vickie Branson's horses (a world famous artist). I am stronger and now that I know what the judge is looking for, next year I'll do exactly that. I may have lost the contest, but I won knowledge. (Lame, I know.)
