....have got even crappier at seeing things, beautiful though they are 4laugh
I've avoided wearing glassess as much as possible which has probably made my eyesight even worse than it would've been, as it means I strain my eyes to see. Sadly, I can't avoid glasses any longer because I really am crap at seeing now. On the plus side, I need new frames. My old ones are shaped so that most of the time I look over them instead of through them. This would be okay if I wasn't so very short sighted. So, I'm not stuck with my old glasses which, in my opinion, make me look like a stuck up receptionist. BUT this creates the dialemma of buying new frames.
My dad's solution whenever my prescription changes, is to just change the lenses. This is normal I suppose, but I have unstylish cheapo frames. Not beatuiful stylish expensive ones like I neeed. Well hardy har harr, dad! The eye lady explained that I needed new frames. A look of horror and surprise flashed across his face, but then....Yes! Genuis!
Next thing I know, my dad is persuading me to try on the free kiddie glasses. How stupid must I have looked, barbie glasses in my hand and the five year old next to me screaming "But mummy, I WANT THE SPIDER MAN GLASSES, MUMMEEEEEEEE-EEE-EEE-EEE-EEE!!!!!"
Luckily, the glasses people thought I looked stupid too. They explained that my head was too large and 'She's not a little girl!' so the styles won't suit me. They then went on to pick out a frame which suited my face shape. They were shiny and irridescent. And happened to be designer. I liked them, the eye people liked them, my dad did not like them.
I don't have any new glasses, might just have to buy the expensive frames myself... stare
