Gooooood evening everyone! It just so happens that I am back in state (not in state of mind), safely home, and I am okay. For the most part. Let me say I've missed you (internet) so much! They promised me free high speed internet access in both hotels and yet I got none! DD:< Yeah, it's sorta funny. The night we got down there, we had to drive back to Alabama just to get a hotel. Apparently middle of no where Georgia is a place where people like to take vacations. I have no idea why. The trip was incredibly long and painful; sitting in a cramped van for 12 hours is not fun! We visited Granny (my great grandmother) the second day ( . . . which was Saturday, if I'm not mistaken). Oh my goodness she is the sweetest old lady you will ever find. She's hilarious and able to kick your butt around the block several times. Sad thing is, her Alzheimer's (I think that's how you spell it .___.) and dementia are really, really bad. She'll be 86 (I think) this year in October. But anyway, we visited Granny and Mona Lisa (who is one of Granny's daughters and living with Granny now) and found that what Grandma had been saying about Mona's kid, Cody, to be true. He's a demon! Mona is a very mellow person yet this kid bounces off the walls!!! I mean, the moment we get down there, he's instantly attached to Keith's arm (who just happens to be the child-friendly one), and pesters the brain juice out of him. He's a total brat and jumps off the furniture even when he was asked several hundred times not to. He has no listening capability, actually. You had to call his name almost five times until he would look at you or ask what. To make it all worse, he's addicted to Thomas the Train and thinks he's a killing robot just by watching Robots. The little animated one; the one without killing robots. He's insane! And then, to make it even more worse, he tore Keith's wallet, almost broke his DS and MP3 player, wasted 6--while I was still using them--pages in my notebook, and threw my book across the room. Let me tell you, that boy had more than just a switch on his legs. Oh yeah, he either got the switch (which is a deadly tree branch for all you non-southern folks. Let me tell you, from experience, those things hurt!) several hundred times a day for not listening, or the belt. Heh, he got more than that when he threw my book~ I picked him up by the collar of his shirt (not kidding) and threatened him with Keith's knife. When that didn't work, because he threw my book again, I grabbed his wrist so hard, when I let go, it looked shriveled. Let me tell you, he didn't touch my things again. Anyways, Sunday was the reunion. Which was madness. It was too loud and too busy for my liking, so I had Interview With The Vampire to bury my nose in. I didn't quite pay attention then since the book takes some concentration, but I had plenty of relatives come by and do the whole relative thing. Cowboy and Judy especially (Cowboy is his nickname--he loved cowboys so much when he was a kid that they just started calling him Cowboy--and is more known as my uncle Frank). Everyone was, I guess, startled to see me with the color in my hair (since my bangs are red--well, were red, since some of it has washed out by now so that I'll have to go get it redyed) and wanted to know about the book I was reading, the music I was listening to (since I had my MP3 player with me also), or what I was writing (because I had my notebook, too. It goes everywhere with me). Most annoying things ever x____x;;; Monday we just stayed around Granny's house while she retold stories of her childhood (which meant her Alzheimer's is really bad), and a few relatives came out to visit. I stayed glued to my bag (which held my laptop, notebook, book, MP3 player, and DS). And, great news, I'm almost done with a story. I'll have to go back in the last chapter and revamp it a little bit since I felt it was a little too rushed. I mean, seriously, when someone you love is being tortured and killed before your very eyes, wouldn't that madman want to draw it out as long as he can? Of course, when he's been doing it for two days without your knowing, the girl is pretty much dead. . . . . Oh well! We'll have to think it over! xD Anyway, if you want a sneak peek, let me know. Last thing, what's all this "Have fun, we'll miss you" comments I got last time? You retards! DD:< You don't miss me, you don't tell me to have fun because it wasn't fun at all, and this doesn't mean you go out and party behind my back! I'm so appalled! DD; But seriously . . . no more parties without me. . . .
