As I said in a previous journal entry, my great aunt has had two heart attacks. She has had several stints put in, and just recently was told that she needed a triple bypass surgery.
Well, that surgery was scheduled for today around noon.
All three bypasses went well. They were planning on doing some repair on some valve that I forget the name of (Starts with an M.), but apparently it wasn't needed. They were also going to take care of the stints, but they had already started to grow into the artery walls.
Now she is in recovery and isn't expected to wake up for a few more hours.
Now her two brothers, the one wife of one of the brothers, and my mom's cousin and his wife are staying at her house. Which is really big. My great aunt is actually kind of rich. She married a wealthy guy, but he died several years ago and now she's dating some other guy. She has a lot of land and such. We like to blow up illegal fireworks over there. Fun fun.
Anyway, my grandma (The oldest of the four living siblings) isn't staying there because there isn't enough room. Besides, she moved in to our house last week, so she'll just stay here.
I'm hoping we'll find out something soon. I'm anxious.
