The whole thing was weird. We all knew no one would come to watch us, but the instructor put fliers up anyway. You see, Finals were going on and once people were finished, they would want to go home. So we performed in front of each other and in front of the teacher.
(I got an A in the class, by the way. Easy A.)
List of awkward things I had to do with people older than me: (I'm seventeen, in case you didn't notice.)
Hold 2 different people's hands
Let one guy kiss my hand
Put one hand on this guy's shoulder and my other hand on his cheek while he knelt before me
Cry on my 'dead' father's chest
Run into the arms of the guy my character loves
Hug my not-actually-dead father
Kneel on the floor, holding the guy's hand and smiling at him
Stand with him having his arm around my shoulder
Run into his arms a second time
Hold his hand and another characters hand as we dance around in a circle chanting
It was odd. @.@
One of the more amusing things that happened during practice:
Instructor: No, you did that scene wrong. You do it this way. -explain-
Everyone: No, the script says this! -brandish scripts-
Five minutes later he realizes his mistake and tells us to start the scene over.
Person playing main character: I need to stand there if we're doing the scene again, so you need to move. -kind of shoves me away by pushing my shoulder-
Guy playing my character's lover: Hey, watch it! That's my girl!
They argue.
Girl playing another main character: -giggle-
Other characters either fidget or laugh.
Blah. So, really, there wasn't much else of merit to report.
I was the only one who brought props. I brought a ton. People had fun. They said I deserved an A just for doing that. Muwahaha.
So now the semester is over. Joy.

PS: Oh, before I forget, I got a B in English Composition 2. I deserved an A, but the teacher was a bloated idiot so she gave me a B. ><
