||Character Story|| Leonardo was born in Artazon, Paldea. He was raised there and got his first pomekon, Smoliv, from his father when he was five years old. When he was six, he enrolled at the Naranja Academy in Mesagoza and his starter pokemon was Fuecoco. While on his treasure hunt at the academy, he also added a Sprigatito and Quaxly early on to his team. Then he rescued a Grafaiai from some bullies from school during another treasure hunt and got a Pyroar not long after. Grafaiai and Leonardo became fast buddies and was one of his main pokemon. Sometimes he would have to change him out depending which gym leader he was fighting but would switch him back in once the battle was over.

Once he had finished defeating all the gyms, he was already ten years old. A new friend came into the Naranja Academy that was from Alola. Leonardo became fascinated with Alola and the island trails that Haikili had passed before coming to Paldea. He was eager to use Z crystals and see how the differences Z moves were from terralized moves. So he begged his own parents to let him go to Alola so he could do the island trails there. It took a lot of begging but after his parents talked with Haikili's parents several times, they said yes. Yet he had to wait until he finished the current class studies that he was already doing at the academy first.

Finally, Leonardo had finished all his current studies and done one more treasure hunt. He left Paldea behind to go to Alola. His father traveled with him over there and stayed the first week that Leonardo was there. Also to celebrate Leonardo's 11th birthday on Ula'ula Island together before he started his islands trials. When talking to the professor on Melemele, he was able to choose one the three starter pokemon native to Alola, and he choose Popplio as he only had three waters type pokemon at that point. He knew that the second trial would be fire so he felt better prepared to have a fourth one ready when the time came for it. He enrolled at the pokemon school in Alola as well to learn more about the region and its pokemon better.

Leonardo stayed in Alola for about seven years after completing the islands trials. He became the Alolan champion for two years in a row. He was the Lush Jungle's grass type trial captain for five of those years. Then he decided it was time to move on to Galar for more schooling. Specifically in becoming a pokemon professor. He knew that he would come back to Alola to live after doing his professor studies in Galar.

Time past and Leonardo finished his studies in Galar and moved back to Alola when he was twenty-five. He's been there since then and was the professor that that new pokemon trainers get their starter pokemon from on Melemele Island. He enjoys his job as professor here on Alola and couldn't see himself living anywhere else. He's dated a few folks here and there but nothing serious so far and research takes up most of his time anyways.

Professor Aspen's main concern right now was the safety for this Eevee that's obviously not Hibiscus. Her smaller size and the color of fur coat was nearly white compared to the usual Eevee fur coloring. However, he was going to continue to call her Hibiscus for now as she had made it clear that she doesn't want go with the teenager. 'This kid is giving off some serious Team Star, Team Skull, and Team Rocket vibes so there no chance that I'm letting the kid have her if possible.' He thought to himself as the Eevee gave angry look and hissed towards the teenager. That told him everything he needed to know about her not wanting to go with the kid.


"That's a good girl Hibiscus. I'll get you back to Selene soon enough." Leo said with a smile to her before looking back at the teenager. "Like Professor Pine already said, Hibiscus is already spoken for so you will have to go search for another Eevee in the wild." he commented to the teenager before looking back at Professor Pine.

"No worries Professor Pine. If anyone is late for our meeting, it's me due to Quaquaval not wanting to leave the gym sooner. I believe that he's become close friends with the other pokemon in the dance class there so he didn't want to stop socializing when it was time to go." Leo told him while keeping the teenager in his sight, not knowing what the kid was going to do next.

Turning his attention back to the kid, he asks,"Are you here to do the island trials in Alola? If so, you will need to talk the Melemele Island's Kahuna, Ordin." The former Alolan champion mentions to him as he realized that he hadn't seen this kid before today.
