- Koldovstoretz (Russian: колдовсторец) is a wizarding boarding school located in the Novgorod Oblast of Russia. Outside of Russia, Koldovstoretz primarily enrolls students from Ukraine and Belarus, though historically, students from Central Asia and Finland were enrolled in the school. It is an old school, being founded around the time of the Novgorod Republic, and is one of the most prestigious wizarding schools in the world. The houses are broken up by gender, with the boys' team being called Streya, and the girls' team being called Rusalka. Streya team is represented by the color turquoise, whilst Rusalka team is represented by violet.
Koldovstoretz is located near the town of Kirovsk, Russia, nearby Lake Ladoga. The school's structure closely resembles the Saint Basil Cathedral. The rooms of the school are decorated as if you are in a regal palace with intricate designs and the two team colors (turquoise and violet) are displayed throughout the school (excluding the dormitories which have their own house color only).
