Do you have any favorite recipes that you like to make?
Since I'm a stay-at-home parent and spouse, I cook lots of different foods. I have always loved cooking and was considering going to culinary school back when I was in high school. My wife loves my cooking, which makes me very happy. heart
One of my favorite things to cook is breakfast food. For Thanksgiving and Christmas, I made snowman pancakes for breakfast. Huge hit with my wife and kids. 3nodding
So, you make three different sized pancakes - small, medium, and large. Make sure you add vanilla to the batter. When you have the pancakes arranged to be a snowman, you dust them with powdered sugar. Then you use Redi-whip in four spots - two on the head and two on the middle body. The Redi Whip is to hold the Hershey's kisses in place. One Hershey's kiss per eye (the two spots on the head) and one per button (two spots on the middle body). Then you drizzle maple syrup (I use sugar free maple syrup) in zig-zaggies across the snowman.
You can change out the redi whip, Hershey's kisses, and maple syrup for other adornments, but it's not really "snowman pancakes" without the pancakes and the powdered sugar. I'm pretty sure chocolate syrup would go excellently with the pancakes. You can also add bacon to the snowman as a scarf. ^_^

There was a professional waffle guy who was hired to cater at a college graduation ceremony. I was serving in the background, but I got to have some waffles. And oh my goodness - they were glorious! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. So delicious.
My wife's waffles are soft and fluffy. They're like eating air. I love them. They aren't heavy, either - more mild with a perfectly balanced vanilla flavor. I've seen people do waffles and just dump stuff on them. Too rich for me - I'd get sick.

I feel like that waffle guy's technique is what I've been searching my life for haha! Your wife's method sounds lovely too! What kind of waffle iron does she use? For waffles I love some whipped cream and maybe some fresh berries or banana. heart Although...if you go to down the shore...you gotta have a Belgium waffle ice cream sandwich. The warm crispy waffle with the cool sweet ice cream.. heart

I know, right?! He refused to share his technique or recipe. It makes sense - that's how he makes his living.
I don't know about the waffle iron. We just got one from Meijer or something years ago, lol.
Whipped cream on waffles with strawberries - mmmmm! Perfect!
I would love to try a Belgian waffle ice cream sandwich! Sounds delish!
So, to make dump cake you use fruit pie fillings with yellow cake mix and butter. It makes an ooey gooey - and very fruity - dessert. We usually use blueberry and apple. Put some ice cream on top. Oh my gosh - soooo good! It's like having blueberry pie and apple pie together - and those are two of my favorite pies!
