I have around 10 good friends. However, these days I don't talk to them much because I know they are busy. Half of them are raising toddlers, babies...
I have a few friends that are also busy with work and studies (I went through this too, I barely talk to my friends).
I talk to them when it is important, but for random stuff I don't. Because I feel it would bother them... Also, it's not fun to see that they don't reply to my message when they are busy so.. yeah...

Over the years all my buddies have moved away from here, or died, and I don't have any close friends locally. My closest friends (who aren't family) are on Gaia! It's kinda weird to say that but totally true. So I guess my answer would be 'never'. I have quite a few local friendly acquaintances, but I wouldn't really consider them friends and we don't speak often.

It's kinda weird to say that but totally true. So I guess my answer would be 'never'. I have quite a few local friendly acquaintances, but I wouldn't really consider them friends and we don't speak often. What's most important is to have someone to talk to . Because I realized I talked less to my friend due to their busy life, I felt more alone . Social community are great place to talk.

Pretty much in the same boat - most of them are busy.
I currently stay at home with the kid's so at times I'd like so adult interaction, but it doesn't happen often. I treasure when I can make a play date or something for the kid's and chat with a mom friend.
Even the single friends I know are busy because of their work and some of them have high holiday demands so they are getting especially busy in their work.
A lot of conflicting schedules all 'round it seems.
I would usually try for once a week, but I get that if I'm lucky. I at least try to get out and do stuff, though - feels less isolating.

Most of the people I speak to regularly are on here (Gaia) or on FB.
FB has been great because I live so far from my family members, so we use FB a lot.
Like the others, I've been here a few yrs and people have left Gaia, are busy in their RL or have passed.
My bff from my youth passed two yrs ago and I'm still missing her.

I'm closest to my family & usually talk to most of them daily & others at least weekly. I talk to friends pretty often, but usually it's just to catch up. I would like to go out more for coffee or whatever but life happens, you know? We've lived several places so I have friends all over & I usually talk to them on Facebook, plus I still keep up with several from my growing up years & try to meet up with them if possible when I go back to my hometown.
