It is not new that people have many account... for various reasons.
My first reason is simply to earn more gold, have more items...
Nowadays, I only use one because I'm not interested in gaining more gold. I have enough items to entertain. whee

I had three at one point but one got hacked. I still have the other two and that is enough for me. The Watery Tart is my other account. I use it for trading and storage.
