Geschopf-der-Nacht

(Oh I forgot to ask where he lived, so I will just leave that blank for now)
Tiny houses flew in and out of view beneath her as she gazed out the window of the plane she was on. It had been a while since she was last here, at least a few years, and now she will be staying with one of her mother's friend's sons. She vaguely remembered him, they did not always see eye to eye in the past, but years have a way of changing people. Nevertheless, he was the only one in the area that was able to let her stay with him so she would have to make it work, one way or another. A sigh escaped her as she thought about what would have happened had he refused, but pushed it aside for now and looked out of the window once more.
A voice came on the intercom telling them to fasten their seatbelts for they will be landing shortly. Hope fastened her seatbelt and relaxed, sticking a piece of gum in her mouth to stop her ears from popping. Not too long after they landed and she got into the airport, Hope found her luggage and sent a text message to Demetrius, looking around to see if she could pick him out of the crowd. She had four suitcases with her, so she had to wait for him to come help her, she was unable to carry everything herself.
