Zipporah Habakkuk Zipporah Habakkuk was a harper in a traveling troupe that had been hired to perform at the Selenian Castle. They were a few days away from reaching the castle when they heard rumors about the Viking were seen inside its borders. Their leader of the troupe didn't believe it and said that they will continue on their way. They have stopped for the day in a village to rest up and to relax some. Some of the troupe like Zipporah went and refreshed her supply stores in her wagon as they were low. The village was a nice place and it didn't take long to get what she needed or wanted for that matter. She returned to the campsite that they had used there before when they had been in this village. She put her items in her wagon and stored them in their appropriate spots in the wagon. Then she got her harp out to practice on a song that she wrote recently.
Zipporah was twenty and two years old. She is five feet and five inches tall and weigh around 130 pounds. She might be small in form but she was light on her feet and ran faster than most men. She knew how to defend herself and was able to get out of most sticky situations. Zipporah can play more instruments than just the harp. She could play the drums, guitar, lute, and the panpipes. She also had a soprano singing range voice out the group and was the main female lead in most of the songs that the troupe did. Zipporah didn't know what to think about the rumors that they had heard and hoped that they weren't true.
Then a few days passed and they were now in sight of the Selenian Castle now. The other two ladies in the troupe teased her about capturing the eye of the prince but she didn't see that happening. For all she knew, they were there to perform at an engagement or a wedding feast. Usually their leader, Yaroni ben Shilhav, would have said that if that was the case. He hadn't but it could be possible. Zipporah figured that he was already taken and wouldn't be interested in her anyways. She wouldn't let her imagination get in the way either. She was here to work, not to find a husband.... A bird embracing.... Erlend Grimwaldsson was his real name. Among the troupe, he was known as Ceredic Tunnelly. They didn't know that all this time that he was a Viking Mage. Nor did they know that he had been using them to spy out the land of Selenia for his Viking brothers. Selenia was perfect for looting and to take over. He, himself wanted to rule Selenia and his Viking Lord Ludin Øpir Bretakollrsson would grant if he came through with his part in capturing the castle. A few other things as well but getting inside the castle would be hardest.... Yet not so hard after all, just careful planning involved.
He had joined a traveling troupe about a year ago, not knowing that their female lead singer was the great niece of Ludin's. It was a few months after digging out information about his fellow harpers that he found out that Zipporah was Ludin's great niece. She didn't know it but he knew. That was the main thing and he did want Zipporah for his own as well. But she wasn't interested in him that way. He would simply bide his time and it was closer that before as they reached the Selenian Castle this day. The attack on the castle will happen at his call. First he wanted to learn the castle's schedule before setting the attack into motion. No more than a week at the latest though, Erlend thought to himself as he was bring up the tail end of the troupe's five wagons train.
The first wagon belonged to their Yaroni ben Shilhav and his wife. Then the second wagon belong the Morris family. Jean and Celine were expecting their first child in a few months. The third wagon belong to Zipporah, who would be his as long his plans go right. In front of him were Glorin and Jareth. The two males were alright but he wondered if the two were more than friends that they claimed to be. Who knew for sure with those two and it was none of his business, that's for sure. Soon they reached the city's gate and the going came to almost to a stop as the traffic was busy.Soon they were on the castle grounds, taking their wagons and horses to the stable. Then the began to unload the items that they would need for the stay. Zipporah was heading back to the stables to get a few more things from her wagon when she bumped into someone along the way. "I'm sorry, excuse me." She said to the man, not knowing who it was.

"This is a bore...I cannot keep sitting around here." Sighing, the prince hoisted himself up from the chair he was currently in. After days of the same politics and arguing, the prince was just exasperated with the dramatics of it all. He had stormed out to go for a ride with his most beloved stallion. It had been quite early in the day when he went out for his ride, despite the protests from his parents and advisors. But he couldn't sit about and stew in his irritation, it would just drive him stir crazy.
Soon coming back to the castle stables as it was afternoon time, the prince was winded and sweat somewhat beading down his neck from the ride under the hot sun. Hopping off his stallion, Aymeric, the Prince, brought his steed into the stable. Getting the steed enough water to cool down after the ride, Aymeric brushed him down, taking a little bonding time with his friend, patting his head. An advisor had come running up to him, Aymeric groaning and rolling his eyes a bit. At least he'd had his ride time to get out of his head for a bit, but now back to work it seemed. 'Prince Aymeric, you are wanted, your parents, the King and Queen need you. You must prepare to meet the coming troupe that is to perform at the Castle. They have arrived and will soon come to the Great Hall to meet your highnesses.'
Sighing, Aymeric held up his hand to silence the advisor. "Alright, I will be there in a bit...I need to clean up first. They can wait that long can't they?" He didn't mean to be rude about it, but he really was just tired. Letting the advisor run off to relay his message, Aymeric got a carrot for his horse, a bit of a treat. Smiling as his steed happily chomped at it whilst Aymeric pat his head again. "I will see you later my friend," patting him again leaving the horse to relax now. Aymeric turned on his heels, about to leave the stables when someone collided into him. The stables were a large set up, so he hadn't seen on the other side where the troupe had set up their horses and wagons. "Mhmph," having reached out his hands to catch the person he'd bumped into. Looking down at the lovely young woman he was faced with. "No excuse necessary, it's quite alright. Besides you'll give me a good excuse to delay myself a few minutes more." Chuckling lightly, since he could just say he took a little longer before going back to his parents, because he ran into someone. ((ooc might not be obvious right that minute that he's the prince XD and he might not tell her till she meets him and his parents in the hall later lol)

Zipporah Habakkuk Zipporah was taken back slightly as the man she had bumped into had reach out to catch her." Are you sure? I came back out here to get a few more things from my wagon. Oh? What are you trying to get out of with this delay?" Zipporah asked him while looking up at man. She thought he was beautiful but it was what's in his heart that matters the most. Zipporah had to hurry but a short delay wouldn't hurt right????A bird embracing....

Aymeric got a moment to look over the young woman, he was struck by her beautiful red hair. Like fiery waves from her head, smiling as she mentioned getting some things from her wagon, "Ah...would you like some help?" It would allow him the few minutes delay and a chance to help the young woman. Sighing a little at the question, "Ah...just...business that I needed to play hooky from. I was out on a ride, that helped a bit...I will have to get back to it soon enough, but a few more minutes delay won't hurt. I would consider it a valiant rescue, if you allowed me the delay?" Smirking saying she would rescue him from the business, by letting him help her and waste a few minutes.

Zipporah Habakkuk Zipporah knew if she wasn't careful, her blue, almost teal colored eyes could get lost in his spring green eyes. She listened his answers before responding back." As you wish." Zipporah said back to him about helping her before raising one eyebrow about the delay."Oh really? There's not many jobs at a castle where someone can simply play hooky and get away with it." She said with a smirk before heading over to her wagon. Zipporah had a suspension that he was was a nobleman of some sort, if not the prince himself but she wasn't going to say it aloud as she would find out soon enough either way...A bird embracing....

Smiling, he followed her along like a pup, since he didn't know their destination, just that she was going to retrieve some items and he would help. He was just happy to get his distraction, and to assist such a beautiful woman. But he had to be careful, he might suddenly find himself all enchanted with the lovely red head. So far, the prince had been quite the...unattainable gentleman. He certainly couldn't stand the women his parents had him meet thus far. One woman in particular was such a horrid thing, Aymeric though she might be a sorceress in disguise and would sooner put a spell on him if she got the chance.
Chuckling, "Ahah, well...I have a little leeway...sometimes. So I know I can at least get away with the delay for a few minutes." He wasn't letting up what he was, that he was the prince. Not just yet, so he was pretending he was just in some other sort of royal business for the moment anyway. "Can I ask, what brings you to Selenia, to the castle here?" If she would let him know, though he bet he could find out eventually anyway.

Zipporah Habakkuk Zipporah couldn't believe how they were interacting with each other.'If he really is the prince, I will feel like a fool. I hope that no one from the troupe are watching us..... I would never hear the end of it from Mara Lynn... ' She thought to herself as they reached her wagon."Well, a few minutes of delay is better than none." Zipporah answered back to him before going up the steps to her wagon door."You may ask what brings me here but doesn't mean I'll answer you directly about it."Zipporah said back with a smirk, looking down at him from the top step.
Then she opened the door to her wagon. " here's my home away from home. Let me see, what else I need or want from here...."Zipporah said to him before going into the wagon. She wasn't sure if he would come in or not but she wasn't expecting him him too.A bird embracing....

"Indeed, that is true. Mhm, so sly hmm? I hope it's not some espionage. You're not sneaking into the kingdom under false pretenses, looking for information are you?" Teasing a bit but attempting to give a half serious questioning look. Smirking a bit, he just couldn't help it.
"Fascinating...is it comfortable to travel in? Or to sleep and live in?" Looking inside the wagon curiously, letting out an audible groan when he heard footsteps coming near. He heard a voice, it was one of the advisors saying they thought they saw 'him' near the stables. The him being the Prince, and he well knew that, "AH blast it all...how annoying," expecting to have to leave.
But he was surprised with Zipporah telling him to hide in the wagon, to which Aymeric didn't question. He hopped into the wagon and ducked down in there, listening at the door.

Zipporah Habakkuk A musical chuckle escaped her lips at his comment about been so sly."Ha! No, but you are being evasive to admitting what your role here at the castle so why shall I tell you what my role is?" Zipporah answered back to him, trying to keep a straight face but failing as a slight grin was on her lips."It's way better than sleeping in a tent on a wet, soggy, and flooding campground. The wagon certainly stays warmer than a tent and keeps keeps the wild animals out better too. I enjoy it for the most part."Zipporah said before hearing footsteps and voices as well." Hide in here quick like and I'll spin a tale for them to listen to if you want to continue to delay yourself."Zipporah said to him before going back out of the wagon after he came in. She managed to close the door quietly and quietly down the steps before an adviser could see her around the corner. She acted like she was about to go up the steps as the adviser stopped her and asked about the prince."I haven't meet the prince yet. Aye, I have seen two men that fit that description since I came back into the stables. One of them looked at me with hungry eyes while I was checking my horse. I kept my horse between me and him until he left finally, saying something about getting something from the kitchen. The other didn't pay any attention to me and then got on a horse and left. Sorry that I can't be more helpful than that, not knowing for sure which one of them you are looking for." She said back to him with a slight sad tone at the end. The adviser thanked for her time and then left her to go looking for the prince, who was hiding out in her wagon. She watched the adviser leave the stable and then went up the steps to the wagon's door. Next she went in and closed the door behind her. "I hope that was worth the effort for you. You owe me for that. Anyways, let's see what I need here.." She said to him, reaching for her harp case. She passed it to the prince to carry and then got two dresses out from the clothing closet. They were brand new, which her grandmother had surprised her with before coming here to perform at the castle. Then she was ready to go. "Ready to head out?" She asked him, wonder if they would run into anyone on their way to her room in the castle. A bird embracing....

"Touche~ I concede defeat on the matter then." Smirking, since neither would concede and admit what they were doing there and their role and whatnot. Aymeric was glad for the offer to hide, getting his delay away from the adviser then.
He almost let out a snort laugh when he heard what she told the adviser to get him to leave. Of course rolling his eyes a little that the man let slip he was looking for the prince, well that ruse was up then. At least he got some amusement out of this though.
When she came into the wagon, Aymeric stood from where he was hiding behind in case the door was opened by the adviser. Smirking at Zipporah, "Bravo, that was well done. Quite the tale too," snickering about it. He stepped closer teasing as he said, "So one of these men looked with hungry eyes," doing as best an imitation as he could of such a thing. Though he failed miserably as he snorted a bit and laughed again at that story she had spun to lead the adviser away. Anyway, had some man done that to Zipporah, approached with that look, if Aymeric were around he would have chased off the hungry eyed fellow.
Taking the harp case she handed to him, watching what else she was grabbing. A pretty pair of dresses, "they look lovely, I think they'll be complimented even more with that wonderfully firey hair of yours." He was very fond of the red locks, it was quite an interesting and bright feature on the woman. Nodding, "Indeed, I'm set. Lead the way~" He figured he'd be able to make it part way carrying the harp case, before the adviser would find him. So at the very least he could carry it the part way if not all the way for her before then.

Zipporah smirked back at him and rolled her eyes before going out the door to mislead the adviser.
Once back in the wagon with him, she gave him a half bow after he praised her. She grinned before speaking, "Thank you your highness, even though your ruse is up. If you have taken a good look around in my wagon, you may have figured out why I'm here." She said as there were drums secured in one corner. Then there were several instruments out on one of the three beds. Two recorders of different sizes, a tambourine, and pan flute laying there on the smaller bed.
Zipporah was trying hard not to laugh but it came on out as he stepped closer to her. His attempt to give her a hungry eyes look, made her laugh harder. The next thing she knew, that she was against the prince's front. She blushed slightly and pulled away from him before he hold her against him.
"Sorry I didn't mean to lean against you there. When the other members of my troupe described you to me, they failed to mention that you have a sense of humor." Zipporah said with a smile, the blush gone for now. She was certainly having a good time with the prince but knew that they both shouldn't delay much longer. She could imagine that someone from her troupe would come looking for her next.
Zipporah got the dresses out after passing the harp case to him. She had turned away to pick up the pan flute off the bed. Zipporah paused slightly after hearing his words about the dresses. Then she began to smirk after hearing the firey hair comment.
"So you like my firey locks? You aren't the first and certainly not the last to do so. But the question is, can you handle all of me?" Zipporah asked him with mischief in her eyes and a smirk on her face. Then she went out the door of the wagon, wondering how Prince Americ would respond to that question.
Once outside, she leaned against the door for, surprised at herself for asking that question to him. Never had she ask a man if he thought he could handle of her like that. She wished she had stayed long enough to see the look on his face, but then again.... Zipporah then went down the steps of the wagon so she wouldn't be blocking the prince's way out of the wagon. Zipporah wondered how long it might be before the prince would come out....

"Sadly, as that would have been a rather fun game to continue." If his ruse hadn't been blown. Nodding as he had looked around, "I take it you're one of the performers that was coming to the castle to play." He just knew of them coming, "We're going to have a banquet...you all will get to enjoy yourselves at it, after playing for a bit of course." Since they were allowing them to perform at the banquet and then just party and enjoy it.
As she leaned, he almost wrapped his arms around her when she did move away. "Mhm...well...everyone's always so focused on other things, personality doesn't ever seem to factor in the rumors and descriptions." Chuckling a little, "You know, they only see the cover of the book." Smirking, impressed with that sassyness of hers.
Leaning into her, "Well I do love a challenge," winking before they headed back inside, with Aymeric carrying the things he was assisting with.

Zipporah Habakkuk "Perhaps, but it is over. Aye, that I am and some of the music that we'll play I wrote." Zipporah said back to him, nodding about the banquet."Is is your engagement banquet? "Zipporah asked him, wondering if there was a special lady in his life already. She didn't thing that the lady would approve of how they were getting along so well."True but it has been about five years since the troupe had last been here. That was before I was a full time member of the troupe or was Ceredic back then. So like Glorin likes to say, 'I slept since then'. That's one of his favorite excuses to use when usable. I have to admit, I used that excuse at times as well."Zipporah said to him as they made their way to the entrance to the castle.
Zipporah couldn't help but smirk and roll her eyes at his comment about loving a challenge." I dare say that if any of the women in the court that was trying to claim you for their own, saw and hear us, they might get a bit jealous." She said with a smirk, wondering how he would respond to that. A bird embracing.... Glorin was on his way to his wagon when he saw Zipporah talking to the adviser. He came closer and heard most of the conservation between the two. Glorin didn't now what the young harper was up to but knew something was up. He stayed out of sight until she was in her wagon. Then he went into his own wagon to grab his lute and pipe. Glorin glanced out his wagon window to see when she would come out.
It was five minutes later when she came out with a look on her face that gave off that something was up.'Was there someone else in there?'Glorin wandered as it seemed that she was waiting for someone to come out. To his great surprise, it was Prince Aymeric! He grinned at that, knowing how some of the troupe had teased her about catching the attention of the prince.Whether or not she meant to catch his eyes, it looks like she has... Glorin thought to himself as the two walked away together. He smiled and got his things together and headed out, giving them time to get ahead of him before following the same path....

"Ohhh is that a hint of jealousy I hear?" Teasing her a slight bit when she made the remark of an engagement banquet. Aymeric couldn't help it and almost snorted, shaking his head quickly, "Well that would be news to me if it was indeed my engagement banquet. No no it is not...it's just...a festival I suppose you'd say. Just a kingdom celebration, so I hope your crew is right and ready to play." Smiling commenting on that, and he was interested to hear her play as well.
Chuckling, "Sleeping till now...that's funny. But I'm glad then the troupe has come back...I'll be able to watch the performance from a different perspective this time around..." Meaning he was a bit younger when they came the first time, so he wasn't necessarily so intent on paying attention then, more immature minded. Plus there was a rather pretty performer with the troupe now too, miss Zipporah.
Shrugging, "Let them be jealous then...some of them are so...what is the word...Well i'm not sure right this moment but they don't provide quite as interesting conversations as I'm having right now. They're too into forwarding their own gains." Finding it a prize if they were to be with the prince.

Zipporah Habakkuk "Someone certainly is full of himself." Zipporah said back to him rolling her eyes. She wouldn't be jealous if it had been and she wasn't looking for a husband.... Zipporah was here work...." Ah, sometimes a festival for no particular reason is good to lift people's spirits up. Especially with those rumors of Vikings coming... Oh we are ready to play and sing your highness."Zipporah said back to him as they went down one hall and began another one..
A chuckle escaped her lips before correcting him."It's I slept since then, not sleeping till now." She said back to him, not knowing what was going through his mind about her at the moment."Oh really? Glad to be of service then to provide you with the interesting conservation. That's not surprising, sad but true. Sometimes it hard to find anyone that's not vain and greedy for power."Zipporah said, wondering what might happen while they here.A bird embracing....
