Kind of inspired from the manga Wild Rock. "On this night, I lay thee down to rest...

Tender touch upon my head, fill my thoughts with love and care..." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_RockSo part of what goes on in the plot, the younger son (Yuuen) of one clan is made to be a distraction to the other clan's son (Emba), the one that will be the next leader. So Yuuen has to dress as a woman for a good part of the manga. Of course he really starts liking Emba, so feels guilty about deceiving him because Emba has started liking Yuuen as well. Cutely enough, there's a sort of marriage ceremony the two clans do by the end once all the drama is resolved and Yuuen and Emba basically marry and the two clans are combined and at peace and all that.Anyway~What I wanted to do was a little twist off of it. Sooo, two kingdoms always at war with each other...Uh the families on each side have a few children. The one side has a three princes, though only two are known of. (will be explained soon) One already married to some princess of another land from them. There are the two left, the eldest and youngest.
Now the families had come to an agreement that an arranged marriage would be made to bring peace between the two, if there was a daughter born to either side she'd be married to a prince of the other kingdom. The problem, neither queen has given birth to any daughters, at least that's what the one side has the other thinking. After their two sons, when the third was born, they had lied about the child's gender, and seeing as no one from the other kingdom has tried to come over and check that fact whether the kid was a boy or girl, they had been able to keep up the lie for years. The youngest prince was very fair and feminine like, he was kept basically a secret from everyone but his brothers and parents, the only people who know he isn't really a she. He's had to be disguised as a female if ever there was a reason for him to go beyond palace walls.
The marriage was arranged with one of the princes of the other kingdom, and once the supposed 'princess' had become a certain age, 'she'd' be brought over to the other kingdom to stay for a time to spend time with the prince she was arranged to be married to, before the actual wedding was done. Ven, the youngest prince, (princess XP) was continously made to dress, behave, and seem entirely like a princess. Years of this and his parents had him keep quiet about it all, unable to protest anything about it. So when Ven was sent over to the other kingdom, they explained that 'she' was shy and rarely ever spoke. The reality was he was forbidden to say much of anything, in case he'd actually spilled the beans about his really being a male. Though with his lack of having socialized with anyone outside of his family, Ven was actually kind of shy, or more nervous about all of this.
Now, what will happen while Ven is over in the other kingdom, if and when the whole deception is figured out? Will it not matter by then, will Ven actually win over the other prince? Well, wait and see...
Eh, hope this all made sense XP
Debating if this should just be a one x one rp, or if there should be more people, like having two other princes from the other kingdom, so can see who Ven really ends up with. And...well, adds to the drama. "I love thee to the end of time...

Prince Clovis, was patiently waiting to meet his bride for the first time in the smaller formal court hall. He was wondering how much longer before he meets his bride and hoped nothing had detain her and escort here along the way. His mother and father, Queen Amelia and King Jareth, were in the room as well, waiting for his bride to arrive. His younger brother Gaileth was was there but his sister was not. He wished that Marguerite could be here as well but it was not to be. His bride's family didn't even know of her existience and that's how it must be because of the treaty that was there before the treaty with his bride's family.Poor Pearl, she really did want to meet my bride but for her own safety and for both peace treaties to stay valid and upheld, it must be this way. Clovis though before looking out the near by window to see that a carriage had arrived at the Great Doors."Someone has arrived at the Great Doors of the castle, hopefully it is my future bride."Clovis said before turning away from the window to look at his family. He did wonder what his bride looked liked but was going to wait to see her once she was brought to them in the formal hall where he was in. His thoughts did go back to Pearl, wondering what she was up to and thinking at the moment.Up in her tower room, most likely, hiding away from my bride. I'll bet's she had been watching out for the arrival of my bride from up there. I wish she was down here but oh well. I'll go talk to her later tonight sometime after my princess retires for the night. He thought as the guards were letting his bride inside and bringing her luggage in.

Ven Ugh...I feel so icky right now... Ven was all anxious and tensed up being led in and walking the long hall to the throne room where he would meet his soon to be husband and the other king and queen. His eyes glancing to the floor and back ahead, making sure he didn't go stumbling over his own feet somehow. Once in the room, Ven glanced around and quickly gave a look over the king and queen, and the prince. Stepping forward, closer to them all, and gave a quick little curtsy (bow, however it's spelt) "It is nice to meet you all...I am Ven."

Indeed Marguerite was watching the carriage come into the inner courtyard.I wish I was down there to join in the fun. Alas, I'm not allowed to. Somehow I will meet my brotherr's bride, the question is the when and how. I really hope that she's not a bore... She thought as she caught a small glimsed of the bride to be from her high tower window.

ClovisPrince Clovis was glad to meet his future bride finally and he smiled as she came into the room. He walks over to her and bowed to her in greeting."Welcome Princess Ven, I am Prince Clovis. Let me introduce to you the rest of my family."Clovis spoke to her as he took her right hand into his left hand and led her closer to his parents."This is my father, King Jareth,"he paused for a moment before continuing." Here's my mother Queen Amelia." "We're glad that you are here Princess Ven and hope that you will enjoy it here with us. I know that it was a long trip to get here so Clovis will take you to the dinning hall to get a little something to eat if you want before going to bed. It is late so Amelia and I are going on to bed. Goodnight Clovis, Gaileth and Ven."King Jareth said before taking his wife's hand and leading her out of the room. Clovis watched as his parents leave the chamber and turned to face Ven again."There's my younger brother Gaileth." He said as he pointed towards his brother who was now on his way out of the room as well. Gaileth looked their way after hearing him calling his name and gave Ven a semi bow before leaving them alone in the chamber." Would you like to go get something to eat before going to bed tonight?" Clovis asked her before leading her out of the chamber into the hallway.

Ven Ven slightly bowed as any introductions were made. Wishing the rest a goodnight as they were leaving. Now left with Prince Clovis, a little fidgety not knowing how to act right now. And still of course awkward with the situation. Glad when he had questioned if Ven was hungry or anything, rather then remaining in silence. "O-oh, yes Prince Clovis," not sure how to address him in what way. "I would like to...it has been a long trip to get here, I am very hungry." being stuck in the carriage most of the day.

ClovisPrince Clovis have her a warm smile to help make things less awkward."You can call me Clovis when we're alone or in an informal setting. Please follow me to the dinning hall then."Clovis spoke and began leaving the room. He held the door open so she could pass and closed the door after she passed through.He then led her to the dinning hall which wasn't far from where they were. "Here we are, the dinning room"He said as he opened the door to the dinning room for her to go in first."Ah, one of the servants got here before we did and laid out a spread of food for you to choose from. I hope that you enjoy what they fixed for you. Let us know what you like so the cook can know what foods to fix to please you." Clovis told as he lead her to the table where the food was laid out for her.

Ven Ven smiling, giving a little nod, "A-alright then." Glad that was settled and happily followed to go get something to eat. Looking around as they came into the dining room, it looked so nice there. Looking at the food, seeing a little spread laid out, "Oh wow...T-thank you," wishing to thank the servant(s) too. "I'm sure I will enjoy, I guess I should say I am not too picky." Chuckling lightly. So it was easier then, instead of saying what specifically he/she liked as Ven did say that not very picky thing. "Well, I can definitly say I am not shy to meats...not just vegetables." Like not looking to be eating like a bird or rabbit, little things.

He wondered what Pearl was up to. He wished that she could meet Ven as he knew that she would like her right off."Once you are done, I'll show you where your chambers are."He said before fixing a cup of wine.

Ven Ven smiled, "heh, aww, I think we'd get along just fine," if he met this Pearl. Taking a seat and started in on a plate that had some meats and veggies, and a glass of water, wary of the wine, he/she hadn't tried it, and that might not be the best mix, he might do something stupid like give himself up as being a male.

 Indeed this 'cousin' Pearl was on her way down to the dining hall to grab a midnight snack. She thought it was safe to come down now as she thought Ven was already in her chambers for the night. Marguerite went into the dinning hall with out checking to see if anyone was there. Then she saw both Clovis and Ven sitting at the table.Damn!!! I though they were already in their rooms. What should I do now? She wondered as she had come in loudly and Clovis was looking over at her now. Clovis got got up and came over to her.Clovis was surprised to hear someone coming into the dining hall where they were. Not only that but it was his sister!!"Excuse me for a little bit Ven, I need to go talk with her for a moment." Clovis said before getting up from the table and going over to where Pearl was standing as if waiting for him. He could see that she was surprised to find them in there and she really hadn't meant to try to meet Ven so soon. Clovis could her her like an open book she seemed at a loss at what to do. Whether or not to go ahead and flee or wait and see what her older brother had to say."So let's go outside into the hall way to talk for a moment."He said before taking Pearl's arm and took her out of the room.Marguerite let her brother lead her out of the room and wondered what he was going to say to her out in the hall."It was a pure accident Clovis! I didn't think that y'all would still be in the dinning room at this hour. I'm so sorry, what to do now? She had seen me in there..."Marguerite said as she didn't know what to do. "I know that it was from your reaction back in there Marguerite. I can read you like a open book. I do have a plan though." Clovis said and told her what he had in mind."Mom and Dad won't like it but it will have to do for now. ready to be introduced to my bride as Cousin Pearl?" Clovis asked her before reaching for the door handle."Yes,"she answered before Clovis opened the door for her to go back in. "Ven, I want to introduce to my cousin Pearl that I mentioned earlier."Clovis said as he brought Pearl over to the table to meet Ven.

Ven Ven heard the shuffling noise of another person coming into the room where they were. Lifting his head, blinking looking over at the pretty woman that walked into the room. Ven flushed lightly, just surprised and wondered who she was. His attention snapping to Clovis as he spoke, "O-oh...alright then," watching curiously as he left the room with the young woman. He was silent waiting and almost scrambled from his seat when the two came back in. Flushed embarressed with the scrambling and clearing his throat lightly, brushing his hands down the dress to fix it. "H-hello..it's lovely to met you." giving a little curtesy as he would be expected to do while acting the part of a woman. "I'm Ven...As Clovis here has just said." Smiling.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Ven. I wasn't sure that I was going to see you on my visit here with my cousins." Pearl said back to her and giving her a curtsey that was a little bit deeper than Ven.That was that once Ven and Clovis were married that Ven was above Pearl's position to the throne. "I didn't meant to interrupt y'all time together here. I just wanted to grab a little something to eat before going to bed so I'll grab it fast and then be on my way. " She said as she spotted four apples on the tray and picked one up in her right hand.
