Negativity. Why I do not get it. Sure things might not be perfect but to just sit and wait hoping for something to die to me is lame.
Negativity is a human nature when someone gives up. Thats why if you see someone down in the dumps just take them to a bar with karaoke nights and give them a couple of drinks. I do believe they would be happy then XD

Something I just do not get.... How come everyone on the forums are super nice and willing to talk to just about anyone. Go into either Towns or Towns 2 and you instantly become alienated from the community. Now I know that some people on the forums go to towns and talk up a storm. But what I don't seem to understand is why do they go on towns and just sit there??? scream
For some reason my coworker tells me constantly not to run, but I can't help it at all... there are times like today that I needed to grab stuff from the captain's quarters/storehouse, and that there is no need to hurry but I have to quickly get the room done( a total contradiction) stressed

I dunno! I'm kind of shy, and talking in forums is easier because there are a bunch more people talking plus I have time to review and edit what I'm going to say so it's as non-awkward as possible. In Towns that's harder to do. But when I go into Towns I'm usually there to collect bugs, not to sit in one place and not do anything or respond to anyone! xd Maybe they forgot that the window was open?

negativity is not a good thing. However some people suffer from clinical depression and it is a chemical imbalance in the brain that causes them to be negative. In a situation like this it is difficult if not impossible to control. needing therapy to deal with it. People who don't understand this can sometimes make the situation harder for the sufferer. However this does not apply to people who are not clinically depressed and just enjoy complaining and being unhappy. Those kinds of people I don't understand either.
Sometimes I hate my paranoia. Many times (in recent years), I am s**t-scared to post anything on the internet... about, for example, something that bothered me at work or... uh, I guess mostly things that relate to work (current or past).
I suffer from ptsd and ergophobia, by the way. Mm... I am customarily uncomfortable with posting something like that.
Edit: I guess there are other things I shy away from posting about... just can't think of anything right now. Work is on my mind because I was actually going to rant about my day but decided not to at the last moment.

SAME HERE. UGH.
I had a very frustrating thing to deal with for work that all other people in my line of work have to deal with at some point also. I needed to blow off a little steam, so I went into a forum for people doing this job where we often share frustrations... made a very brief post about how it was frustrating to deal with, more time consuming, causes us to lose productivity and therefore money, and six people agreed with me, but three other people immediately jumped down my throat about how we were "horrible" for complaining about this thing and everyone has to deal with it, it's just part of the job, etc.
Well good for you for being the absolute picture of patience; the rest of us need to blow off a little steam once in a while.
And I mean, the people jumping on ME are some of the same people who constantly go in there and b* about how they make less money than they used to and their employers don't value anyone and treat them like dirt, etc... when honestly, I used to work for a company in this business that WAS terrible and abusive, and my experience with where I work now, which is a place they all complain about, has been loads better than the other one. Yet I'm a "horrible person" for complaining one time about something else.

Yeah, sometimes it just helps to have a good b***** and let it all out. Sometimes my family, including my husband, are like "You don't need to talk about that, just let it go." When I want to tell them about my frustration at work. I'm like, no, I'm not dwelling on it, I just want to share this with you so you can be like "Man... that was tough." And I'd feel better. sad
I know my husband has picked up this habit from talking to my mom... they feel like me talking about frustrations is inherently bad for me because of my ptsd issues and obsessive tendencies. But I'm like... so I should just hold it all in... because that's definitely healthy?
Haha, here we are ranting about people judging our rants. It's so meta. cat_blaugh

I hate, hate, hate, that I get panic attacks when I drive on the freeways! I get so freakin angry at myself. Why, can't it go away. I am not that old. I see women way older than me driving the freeways and I can't. I hate it!!!
