((Got kinda bored, so I started =P)) •:*´Miku • Hakudoshi`*:•. "You're only as small as the world makes you seem... Miku sighed as she walked to the high school. She loved walking to school, but something felt off. The sun was shining through the trees of what was usually a rainy town. The streets were the same old mess they always were and nothing else had changed. But Miku couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching her. Miku passed a glass phone booth and looked at her reflection. She was wearing black thigh highs and a black skirt. She pulled it down, afraid that it was too short. She didn't worry about her tank top being low because her jacket fixed that. Even with a jacket, the cool autumn air sent chills down her spine.
Miku looked around, trying to find the source of who was watching her. Finding none, she sighed and continued her walk. ...You're only as tall as your heart lets you believe."

((Ack, I did not mean to take so long with this >>; ....i kept debating what to do with the ending of this post...send him in for the kill now, and of course have some reason for him to not do that XP....or just let him keep following her for now...)) ~Hisoka Amari~ His steps, silent, as if he were walking on air, Hisoka followed his new target. A small picture in his pocket, the reference given by the employer, was buried in his pocket. An assasin, Hisoka was hired to get rid of this girl, and his employer was paying quite a ridiculous amount for this to be done. No skin off my back. Hisoka never let any emotions interfere with his work. From his usual demeanor, you would describe him as being cold. Though noone ever saw his face, at least not when it came to his work. Not even his employers saw him, all they'd be met with were shadows.
Shadow manipulation was part of Hisoka's being, a power he's had since birth. It was convenient for moving around stealthily, as well as hiding himself among others. Like now, as he followed the girl he was sent to kill. When she'd looked around, seeming to feel his presence, Hisoka dodged into the the shadows around nearby trees and houses. This girl was surprisingly aware. Beautiful, as well, was a thought that entered his mind. Though, he quickly shook that from his head. He would not let himself be distracted.
Miku, he'd found was her name. A highschool student, that posed a threat to a rather large company. Hisoka had been given all the details. Though, he doubted this girl could do as much damage as his employer assumed, Hisoka would carry out the job. When she continued walking, so did he, his steps silent on the pavement.
It would be best if he finished her off now. So early in the morning, the streets were oddly empty and quiet, perfect for Hisoka to move in for the kill.

•:*´Miku • Hakudoshi`*:•. "You're only as small as the world makes you seem... Miky sighed yet again as she walked through the doors of school. The torture Prison in her eyes. The teachers were just people who came to get paid. Fights were allowed and girls could look as slutty as they pleased. Miku was engulfed by her small friends as she entered the school building. They all began talking non stop about their weekend.
Miku'd friends, who were mainly guys, were very protective of her. They hated when any one smarted off to her or anything. she had no idea how good they would come in handy soon. ...You're only as tall as your heart lets you believe."

~Hisoka Amari~ As Miku entered the highschool, so did Hisoka. Part of his job, sometimes consisted of him having to blend in with a certain environment. Considering his actual age, it wasn't really a problem, being able to appear as a highschool student. He'd already set himself up at the school, a few days ago.
His attention was drawn to the ones that had surrounded Miku, her friends, obviously. They wouldn't pose too much of a problem for him, but nonetheless, he'd still need to be aware.

•:*´Miku • Hakudoshi`*:•. "You're only as small as the world makes you seem... Miku waved goodbye to her friends and told them she'd see them in gym. That was the only class they had together this year. She trudged off to first period biology with a yawn that let everyone know she didn't get the appropriate amount of sleep the previous night.
At school, Miku was completely oblivious to the threat in her life. There were so many people there, who knew who looked at her occasionally. Her eyes caught one boy with very bright eyes and long dark hair before going into the class. ...You're only as tall as your heart lets you believe."

~Hisoka Amari~ Hisoka watched as Miku left her friends, to head off to class. He kept his pace, following behind her, noting how fatigued she seemed. Tired targets were easier to deal with, though, he could do nothing here without catching anyone's attention. He'd need to keep up his guise of 'highschool student' until the moment he could strike. Sighing, how tiresome, he thought. Hisoka wasn't really a 'people person' kind of guy, not a very social person.
Having prepared well for this job, Hisoka's schedule was made to follow Miku's exactly. So, as she went to biology, so did he. Hisoka froze when Miku looked his way, her blue eyes locking with his. It felt as if his heart was racing, with that one look. What was wrong with him today? Shaking his head, Hisoka went into the class, after she did. [[Sorry about that wait, there was something that happened to my laptop, I was trying to fix it...so my attention was kinda taken up by that issue >>; ]]

•:*´Miku • Hakudoshi`*:•. "You're only as small as the world makes you seem... It seemed Miku wasn't the only tired person in class today. Actually, it seemed she was the only one who would be able to stay awake. She sat in her seat by the window, immediately dazing out. Her biology grade was fine, and she always seemed to be able to answer a question. Now, in math, she was terrible. "Yet another first period Biology," She murmured. Miku hated mornings and teachers, that wasn't a great combination in school.
"Ah, good morning, Miku," Mrs. Hido greeted, smiling. She wasn't too surprise to merely get the "two-finger wave", yet she sighed with a frowned. She noticed the new face in the class, "And you would be?" She looked down the roster for a new name. "Are you... Hisoka?" She asked. It was obvious she was a kind and patient teacher. ...You're only as tall as your heart lets you believe."

~Hisoka Amari~ No one in this class seemed very awake, from what Hisoka could see with all the drowsy looks on student's faces. Hisoka wasn't much of a morning person himself, but at least he was more concious then the others. He went and sat at one of the few empty seats left in the class, one being pretty close to Miku's.
Hearing the teacher speaking to him, Hisoka looked in her direction. He offered the woman a slight smile, to be polite. As she read his name off the roster, he nodded. "Yes, I'm Hisoka."

•:*´Miku • Hakudoshi`*:•. "You're only as small as the world makes you seem... "Ah, well, welcome then," Mrs. Hido said, with a smile. At least someone was awake. She looked over at Miku and shook her head before turning her back to the board. Miku began to looked out the window, her eyes watching gray clouds on the horizon. She always got headaches when a storm was approaching. Miku shrugged it off. She had no headache yet, so there was no sign of a storm.
Once again, just letting her eyes wander -- she had no idea why, the room never changed -- and her eyes caught Hisoka's face. For some reason, Miku got a weird vibe from him. She wasn't psychic, of course, but he just seemed.... different from the most different people here. Miku made it her goal to talk to him. Maybe not that day and maybe not the next day, but she would.
Miku jumped at being asked a question. "M-ma'am?" "I said, Miku, What is the difference between viruses and Bacterial infections?" Miku sighed, tempted to look at her notes. "Um.. because... Bacterial Infections only get to the cell wall before the immune system kicks in. Viruses get all the way into the nucleus, then it's too late to cure them..." Miku's face regained it's daydreaming expression as Mrs. Hido gave a nod.
((I learned that today =3)) ...You're only as tall as your heart lets you believe."

~Hisoka Amari~
Hisoka listened to the lesson Mrs Hido was giving. Though, he already knew the information she was going over, pretty well. From time to time, he looked from the corner of his eye, over at Miku. She seemed to be daydreaming for the most part.
Once again, he was caught by those beautiful blue eyes, as she looked over at him. Bringing his thoughts away from that, Hisoka returned his gaze to looking forward, instead of at Miku. Shortly after Mrs. Hido had questioned Miku, did she call him out. The question was about the nucleus. What are the main elements of it. "The main elements are, the chromatin, the nucleolus, the karyolymph (or nucleoplasm), and the nuclear membrane."

•:*´Miku • Hakudoshi`*:•. "You're only as small as the world makes you seem... Miku listened to his answer, though this was just review they had done for the past two years. A lot of the kids looked confused at his answer, but then again, a lot of them looked too old to be seniors. She was impressed by his answer, and apparently, the teacher was too. "Very good answer, Hisoka," Mrs. Hido smiled.
Miku, after giving a small scribble of the other word for Nucleoplasm in hr notebook, went back to daydreaming. Only one more class period until break. Miku was going to start getting restless if the bell didn't ring soon. The main reason was that the sooner break came around, the sooner lunch came. The other reason was because she might be able to talk to Hisoka. That was really bothering her. ...You're only as tall as your heart lets you believe."

~Hisoka Amari~ Hisoka was silent for the rest of the class, as Mrs. Hido had not asked him, or anyone, anymore questions. It was more like sitting through a lecture for the rest of the class. Finally the bell had rung, to end class. [This post is painfully short >>; sorry....first full day of college classes...my brain has gone all mushy on me XP ]

•:*´Miku • Hakudoshi`*:•. "You're only as small as the world makes you seem... Miku had her stuff up five minutes before class ended. If she wasn't active in class, she would have gotten in deep trouble. Mrs. Hido pulled her to the side as the other students began to file out and whispered something in her ear. Miku nodded with a pink tinge to her cheeks and looked at Hisoka before exiting the class. "Woo... math... false excitement!" She said in false glee to noone in particular. However several people passing her laughed. ((lol, I understand~ I was like that after first day of highschool =P)) ...You're only as tall as your heart lets you believe."

~Hisoka Amari~ Hisoka got up, once Miku had gone past him, for the door. He noticed Mrs. Hido whispering something to Miku, as her cheeks then tinged pink. This made him wonder what the woman had said to her, and why Miku had looked back at him again. Sighing, he walked out, giving the teacher a nod, to say 'bye.' Leaving, he followed Miku to her math class. [hehe sweatdrop .....lol, yea, guess the first day back, no matter the grade, is a drain XP ]
