I'm so excited about Halloween this year. I'm sewing my own Dr. Horrible lab coat.

I have some pictures heart
The coat is not done!!! The things that I still need to do to the coat are...adding buttons and button holes, finishing the bottom of the coat, adding cuffs to the sleeves, and the belt thing in the back.

Nice. I'm debating on what to be.
Boyfriend is going in his gimp leather/spiky gear.. and he wants me to accompany him but I lack leather.

I've watched the ending so many times to try and make the coat accurate. Whenever I'm working on the coat I inevitably start singing "Now the nightmares real. Now Dr. Horrible is here!"

I bought a teal pair from E-bay for about $5, then had the problem of turning them silver! The goggles are a soft plastic so almost every kind of paint doesn't stick to them gonk

I ended up finding this silver 'paint' that was really a product for antiquing / making things look like antiques. That seemed to work well, but then I realized that it never dries...the stuff rubbed of on my hands 5 days later!
Now I'm thinking I should put a coat of clear fingernail polish over the goggles whee
