Dark nights alone,
Waiting for someone to reach out to me,
Playing a different tune,
Up sitting in a tree,

Evil comes and takes over,
The good only shows on the outside,
On the grass below shows crimson clover,
Tears fall on them that only my soul cried,

My soul waits for someone to save me,
The girl that I am waiting for to come along,
To save me and set me free,
I wait all day long,

I fall deeper everyday into the darkness pit,
My soul inside of my body waiting,
Waking up only to see it,
The hate grows to hating,

I wait for the girl that will save me,
To make my soul happy again,
To set happiest inside me free,
To make my soul forget pain,

Hope slowly fades away,
Leaving sadness and hate,
Waiting all day,
Waiting for fate,

Waiting for the one person who can save me,
Only person that I will open up to,
Let feelings out free,
The person to take away the blue,

I wait for that person,
Day and night I wait,
Waiting why the darkness worsen,
Waiting for that day of fate.
