yeah so I went on a picnic with some of my friends yesterday. It began to rain really hard but we just were like "YAYS!" and played in it. So after we were done hiking through creeks and such.....we decided to go get dinner.
we went to Wendys. biggrin
then we decided to go to Kelsey's house to watch movies and play this really cool zombie card game. =) so we were playing and having a jolly good time.
then my parents called.
they said not to come home because there was a tornado warning in our area[the area where I live...not where I was at]. So I called all my friends to make sure they were ok. then I called my mom.
so we looked at the TV and sure enough my house was in the red box of DOOM! then the sirens went off so we all got in the basement.
after a while we went upstairs and watched Star Wars. then I fell asleep.
twas a very interesting night. but I learned how to solve a rubix cube. =D

i dont get a lot of warnings where i live. we only get blizzards, massive thunder storms, and day when it is soo hot they have to stop most of the summer activites at the camp i work at in the summer, so the little kiddies dont get heat stroke.

Last Thursday there were two tornado warnings here. Happens about once a week though. Usually don't freak out until the third siren. But that's what happens when you live in tornado alley.

Wow. All we get where I live is the occasional earthquake. Are tornadoes fun? They sound mildly scary to me. Then again, there's always the chance of getting whisked away to OZ. biggrin

Wow... In Denmark, all we get is puny hurricanes... Which just leaves stone bricks flying at most... We live in the middle of a continental plate, so there're no earthquakes, we are sourrounded by water, but there're countries blocking off, so there're no tsunamis, and we don't even have a volcano... I mean... Gosh >_> The only time I hear sirens is the yearly siren-check so they're assured they're working stressed
