The pope is german. Nothing scares those people other than very very angry russians and cars that are crap. They cry at the latter.
As for the technicalities...Ive had people try to explain that. Im at an understanding you can do that...in fact a science teacher...ironically from Iran...separated, or dehydrated water right in front of us. Then Detonated the hydrogen with a lighter. I was sleeping. I never slept in that mans class again.
More over I think he ionized it as well...not sure.

Kuro: That makes a lot of sense. I wasn't really thinking about it in that much depth. It makes a lot of sense, though.
Target: Wouldn't separating the molecules ionize the atoms?
Also, I think that Russians and Germans equally scare each other at time.
Have to agree about the cars, though.

Should be ionized from the electrolysis to deparate the hydrogen from water.

Whatever Riazzi did, it inspired me to get into pyrotechnics. Im an avid historian...but I loved the sound hydrogen made when it popped like gunfire.
Im not exactly a scientist nor...well and advanced chemist like he was...but it was still bloody awesome! The aperatus he used was attached to what looked like a battery, and three series of beakers, one with water in it, and the other two upside down with more water in it...full to show when something was bubbling to the top...was a fascinating device.
