Fazzey, on base for some stupid a** reason that makes no logical sense what so ever; at night we had to wear a highly reflective belt across our chest if we were in uniform or around the waist if in PTs. They kept theirs on under their tops so they didnt lose theirs

My stapdads in Luisiana training to go to 'bananastand' as my his youngest calls it. Hes going to Afghanistan.

Im done with Iraq. I came back beginning of October. Shifty though is still out there. Im headed to Afghanistan next october-november timeframe

As for nothingness, depends on were your at. I was up in the northern area of iraq. Headed north from Speicher toward Mosul and Talifar, its pretty barren. South towards Warhorse along the Tigris River, its really green in the areas immediately adjacent to the river. Farther north is the mountains (havnt been to sadly).

Put on some NVGs at night and the city areas are actually pretty lit up.
