The sun has not yet broken the veil of night
Not a bird sings, high in the branches
The frost lies undisturbed and glinting in the light
Darkness' stars still shine strong and bright above
The cosmos have yet to decide the light's fate
My eyes have all but just opened from sleep
The gears of mentality begin to churn my curiosity
No step over head does sound, for they slumber so still
Their voices doth not crow in vitality
Silence is the only thing rife in the air
Alas, I stir and ruffle the sheets, while everyone sleeps
