The way your lips crawl 'cross your face
To show the way that beauty tastes
Brightens this dimly lit room
The taste of forever on our tongues soon
Bouncing beams of sunlight falls
Across the ceiling, across the walls
To silhouette your perfect face
And leave silence behind this vocal waste
Breath of lungs escapes my brain
All lost souls of the insane
Muscles in ribs beat to the tune
Of music pulsing through the room
Forever quivers at the window pane
Broken but beautiful all the same
We hold dear the time spent here
As our bodies grow with every tear
I'll tell this story when I'm young
And every year that's yet to come
For it's never ending, love displayed
The way I feel waking up to you today.
- Title: Morning
- Artist: Adaisu
- Description: I wrote this poem for my boyfriend. He had gone to work early that morning and I was sitting up in our bed. So I decided to create a poem that described that morning when we both woke up.
