I approach the window to see the world, all is black, the clouds a shroud.
I’m lost within my withered soul; to fail was the biggest goal.
The grass is dead, the sky so dark, all the trees have shed their bark.
Plants wilt and fade away, today is our final day.
The water’s red, made of blood, from the souls who said they could.
One day become something in their life, tragic fails shown by knife.
We’re all dieing everyday, one day we’ll have to pay.
I’m lost within my withered soul; to fail was the biggest goal.
I close the window, pull the blinds, fall back and watch it all unwind.
The pitter patter of the rain, helps me think, dissolves the pain.
The grass is dead, the sky so dark, all the trees have shed their bark.
This world is dead because of us, no one is big on trust.
I open the window and look again; the clouds and sun come, begin.
A new day arrives with haste, though yesterday was to bring embrace?
Why must this always be, the world always lies to me!
I’m left alone to fight it out, impossible when I’m full of doubt.
This withered soul can’t take anymore! I leave the room and shut the door.
