    After we had parted ways
    I noticed in front of me
    A mysterious looking path
    Wondering where it would lead

    I could see it was torn
    Splitting into two
    But I couldn’t really tell
    Which had the better view

    To the left it was dark
    And sadness loomed above
    A lonely feeling emanating
    Lacking any love

    But to my right I could see
    A bright light shining through
    Soaking into all my worries
    Making me feel new
