Erupting with a boom, pow!
No longer a reason to say ow.
Happiness over fills the girl,
Making her jump around and twirl.
This is the only time that she can be happy
When she is not mad or snappy.
She's free to act silly
And no one's mad at her for being witty.
The girl laughs and sings.
She doesn't listen to anybodys reasonings
To why the girl must be crazy.
Yet who cares because to her they are hazy.
Though the girl must savor the time,
Before she turns back into a mime.
Remember the times of wonderful gladness,
Because soon, she will not know of happiness.

- Title: Ode to the Happy Girl
- Artist: girldrummer95
- Description: This is one of the four poems I wrote for my language arts class this past school year. This poem is an ode. We had to pick a theme and write four poems. My theme was teenage emotions. The title was The Emotions of a Shy Adolescent Girl. I got an A+ on this so it should be pretty good. (:
