• Crazed

    Plain of peace,
    Because the bombs have eased,
    Craters litter the plain,
    War is all the same.

Soon the rains will come to wash away the blood,
The only thing left to stand is the grudge.
Broken and lifeless lay body's and weapons,
Leaders full of greed and power had left them.

    Smoke and ashes,
    Trenches and gashes.
Littered with destroyed tanks and cars,
This once beautiful place, forever scared.

    Dirt soaked with decay,
    Forever here they stay.
    Forgotten in this damned war,
    So many lives torn.

Smoke raises as the sound of distant bombs sting the air,
But far away are there leaders, left without a care.
Because many lives they have to waste,
Because for power they crave. . .
