Dead.
Gone.
That little boy
who laughed away
his worries and his cares.
His friends were all that mattered
with their pictures, clubs, and dares.
What happened to him?
A little thing called need.
Without his friends, he was a freak,
which is why he turned to weed.
Dead.
Gone.
That little boy
who laughed and joked
so he could have some friends.
And friends he had!
Some loyal ones who loved him to the end!
What happened to him?
Well it happens every day.
Without his friends, he was a freak,
which is why he moved away.
Dead.
Gone.
That little girl
who laughed and cried
simply 'cause she could.
She had friends. She loved them so;
they treated her like friends should.
What happened to her?
What's known as loss of love.
Without her friends, she was a freak,
which is why she shed some blood.
Requiescat in pace, my childhood,
you did the world some good.

Description:
I was thinking last night, trying to make myself cry so I wouldn't feel so heartless. It didn't work, but I did get this nice little memoir of who my friends and I used to be. The first is Owen, the second is Sam, and the third is yours truly.
'Requiescat in pace' means 'rest in peace' in Latin. Better known as RIP. - Date: 03/21/2010
