I stared deeply into the blackness that I had decided to call "Oblivion," (not as if it were evil, or consumed souls, but more that it gave off a foreboding aura of loneliness), and let it seep into my weak mind. Suddenly, I realized the complete insignificance of my existence. But, then again, Oblivion also told me that life was the most important thing in this lonely universe, and that my life and the lives of everyone on earth were more important than I could have ever comprehended. Oblivion struggled to help me understand, because to my feeble intellect, these were two different messages. And as oblivion was about to reveal all of its secrets; the connection severed, like a life being lost. Oblivion had disappeared. I felt disconnected, like something was missing. My mind struggled to reorganize itself after being connected with Oblivion. Oh, yes, my brain understood now. It was a familiar feeling.
I was alone.
