    I have this gift
    And only I can wield it
    It beats for me
    Its edges are sharp like diamonds
    Its core hot like the sun when it gives light
    Its blood warm just as the right hand of god
    That gift is my heart
    Every beat it takes gives me another chance of life
    Another second to breathe, love, and live
    A chance to explore and learn
    To make choices and dreams
    My heart, may seem small to those that can’t see
    But to me, it completes the universe
    It completes those I love dearly
