• Labyrinth

    High stone walls trapping me
    Forever closing in claustrophobically
    Endless different paths, different decisions
The shadows hiding the true prison
    Painfilled screams from unseen others
    Quickly overlapped by another
The sky overcast with dark clouds of gray
Blocking even the knowledge of night and day
Phantoms of the mad wander the serpentine halls
Echoes of their former selves, haunted by their own desperate calls
Memories tearing at me, mercilessly reminding me
Of all I am going to lose and those whom I will never see again
Now I am lost in my own mind, the one true labyrinth
The walls soaked in the blood of the mad, the air full of the rusty scent
Lost in the labyrinth, doomed forever to wander blindly
And to leave my previous life behind me
