• These walls of mine,
They enclose me, and protect me from the world.
I lay my head on the wall and weep into the strong structure.
These walls are so cold, but they are always there.
The wind silently whispers against the wall and harmonizes with my breathless sobs.
Unlike the wall, I am not strong, I am frail, and I crumble in any signs of abuse.
These walls of mine…they are perfect, while I am bruised, bleeding, and fallen.
These walls of mine, are so safe….so strong and stained in my weakness.
These walls of mine, is where I belong against…and the only thing I can trust in such a cruel world.
