It doesn't need a point. It's a humor poem. hence the "death is more HUMOROUS" bit. It just morbid humor. It's an acquired taste, I assure you.

I don't mean to critisize but I don't get it. How do you forget the name of a family member? ... Unless they are extended family maybe...
