• Shall You Miss it Once it's Gone?

    Shall you not glance down at the sea below
    And watch the weeping edge with much delight
    It is the edge of this vast world of mellow
    Hills and oceans with great sight

    Shall you not glimpse in the eye of fate
    The guide that shows this great hope
    It gives us life and death that mate
    As well as powers that we tope

    Shall you not watch the bustling life
    Down below with valley thick and green
    The enemy that lurks attacks with strife
    But many dodge with eyes of keen

    You shall glance down at the sea below
    While you do rest with much delight
    When eyes of fate leads to a place of mellow
    Then on that day you shall behold such sight
