    the glistening sweat running down peoples brow
    the rays of the sun shining about the water
    and the burst of colors from the summer flowers

    In the summer i taste
    the delicious summertime fruits
    cold water cooling my dried throat
    and the sweat picnic food from the park

    In the summer I hear
    giggles and laughs of the summer fun
    the loud crashes of the waves near the beach
    annoying crickets searching for their mates

    In the summer I feel
    the excitement that summers finally here
    the heat from the sun hitting my exposed back
    relieved for there is no more homework
