    you hear the seagulls fly overhead
    you look out into the vast open sea
    you remember old times
    coming to the beach as a child
    with your parents and siblings
    coming to have a picnic at the beach
    learning to swim
    meetings your first boyfriend
    at the very same beach you are on today
    but now
    you have your own family
    with that very same boy
    doing the very same thing you did as a child
    the very same things you did with your family
    so as the other children get older
    and come back to the very same beach
    they will remember what they did as a child
    but they are here with their family
