I walked through the crowded halls of hell
The floor was ash from burning dreams
Between the walls where lost hopes dwell
I could hear naught but bloody screams
Demons tortured broken souls
In classrooms filled with damned fires
They buried the souls in burning coals
They stripped the souls of all desires
Now I feel lightning in my chest
I come to life and stand up straight
Paramedics sit me down to rest
I ask the time and place and date
“You’re in school”, or so they say
For hell and school are much the same
