Livin it day by day
never strugglin
Just makin it down the road in my own little way
Lots of friends
a few lovers too
I always smile
because i know

Be consistant with capitalization. A little punctuation would polish your poem. About the slang, such as "livin," "takin," "makin," it never hurts to put apostrophes after the words (but the slang alone contributes to your style of poetry :] ).
